The Electrifier DC 12V Submersible Brushless Water Pump is built to keep water moving quietly and reliably in fountains, ponds and aquariums. Running on a 12-volt DC supply, it circulates up to 660 litres per hour and lifts water to a height of 3 metres, which is enough to feed most tabletop fountains, decorative garden features, small ornamental ponds and home aquariums without the bulk or noise of a mains pump. At its core is a brushless DC (BLDC) motor paired with a magnetic-coupled turbine impeller. Because the drive is magnetic and brushless, there are no carbon brushes to wear down and no shaft seal to leak, which is what lets the pump run continuously at under 40 dB while sitting in water. The turbine impeller and shaft core are designed for long, low-maintenance running, and the moulded ABS housing resists corrosion in freshwater use. The pump draws 27 watts and handles water between 1 and 60 degrees Celsius, so it suits both cool circulation and warm-water setups such as solar hot-water loops. It measures roughly 7.7 × 4.2 × 6.5 cm and weighs about 210 grams, with a 1/2 inch threaded inlet and outlet and a base with mounting feet. Two DC leads (red positive, black negative) connect to a 12V battery or DC adapter — it must never be wired to an AC wall socket, as mains voltage will damage the motor. It can be used two ways: fully submerged inside a tank or sump, or mounted inline on a feed line outside the water.
